Most visitors arrive at Grindelwald via a train from Interlaken. The journey takes around 30 minutes, and the fare costs between 8-12 franks. Interlaken has connections with most major cities in Switzerland. Driving is also a great option, as it gives you the freedom to roam once you arrive.

In a privileged location close to three major Alpine ski resorts, Grindelwald is the ideal place to hone your skiing skills. With several highly regarded ski schools in the area and the bodiARENA nearby, there is no better place to explore course options. Complete beginners will gain confidence and the basic knowledge needed to take their first journey on the slopes, and intermediates will boost their existing skills to the next level.
Most courses include ski equipment in the price of the course, but if you have your own skis it is recommended you use these. Winter clothing is essential, and must either be bought along with you, or hired from the ski school.
You will find discounted course options outside the main season, which runs from December to February. Head to the slopes in November or March to snap up low season discounts.
