The Vallée Blanche descent is renowned worldwide for its top-class skiing conditions and breathtaking backdrops. Suitable for intermediate skiers and advanced snowboarders, all will find a route appropriate to their skill level while experiencing one of the best adrenaline rushes of their riding career.
The Vallée Blanche descent can be enjoyed by both skiers and snowboarders; however, be aware that because of some flat parts it is not the most ideal run for snowboarders. If you have top technical abilities, though, you can descend via the Envers du Plan route. Remember that the Vallée Blanche is an off-piste run and presents a multitude of hazards, such as crevasses, rockfall and avalanches; and because of this is only suited to experienced riders. Hiring a guide is a must irrespective of your skill level, due to the rapidly changing conditions on the mountains and safety considerations.
