The 2-day course offered by Swiss Alpine Guides is a thorough and fun introduction to the world of rock and ice climbing. There are also a variety of booking options, making it an excellent choice for families, friends, and teammates of various skill levels. Participating in this class is also a great way to orient yourself with the beautiful region around Interlaken.
It’s important to note that the 2-day course for both rock climbing and ice climbing is only available between May and September. Those hoping to visit Interlaken during the winter months will only find the guides offering an ice climbing course. The minimum age for any class participant is 10 years old; families with younger children may need to find childcare accommodations. Lastly, Switzerland is part of the Schengen area, and travelers from outside this area are required to present a valid passport or visa to enter.
