River rafting in France, and in particular in the Chamonix Valley, is a particularly exciting experience for all adventure seekers. A good alternative to mountaineering activities, hurtling down the rivers of the Mont Blanc region promise to offer thrills, incredible scenery and refreshment from the summer sun.
River rafting is a fun activity that can be enjoyed by the whole family; however, remember that it is an adventure sport that requires taking precautions. Everyone in the party will need to know how to swim well and be comfortable around water, as falling overboard is always a risk – despite it being limited if all instructions are followed. It is essential that you go rafting with a licensed tour operator and that you listen closely to the recommendations of your monitor, who will be able to tell you more about the weather and current conditions. Finally, don’t forget to bring your swimsuit and have fun!
