The easiest way to enjoy these day trips is to book tour leaving from Huaraz: these are often just as costly as organizing it on your own and are more reliable as local transportation is not always consistent. Tour prices will vary, but you will always have to add entrance fees either to the national park or to the local communities – this will depend on which trip you decide to take.
