This stunning trek brings you to some of the less-traveled areas of Nepal and puts you right at the feet of Makalu. The true highlight of this trip is exploring the diverse plant and animal life between 700 m and 5,300 m.
This trek will take you to high altitudes, which can cause illness in some individuals. Be sure to acclimatize when possible and appropriate and remember to bring altitude sickness medication in your pack. The Makalu Baron National Park is a protected area.
