The Dolomites are famous world over for their natural beauty, fascinating history, and challenging trekking routes. There are a multitude of trained Alpine guides ready to take you on a unique adventure into this stunning region, with trips suitable for every age and experience level.
Pay close attention to the physical grading of your chosen trek. If you have little to no experience hiking then test the waters with a day trek which does not require too much technical knowledge of the terrain.
Many guided treks run only in the summer months – May through to September. If you want a quieter experience then opt to travel at the start or end of the season, when routes tend to be less crowded.
Remember to wear suitable footwear for your trip, and test drive your shoes before the trek.
