Druk Path Trek is one of the most popular treks in Bhutan where you get to traverse 4,100m+ passes, soak in breathtaking views of some of the highest Himalayan peaks, enjoy the giant trout in high altitude lakes and experience the ancient Bhutanese culture including its two main towns: Paro and Thimphu.
Bhutan is located in a remote part of the world and you will need to change multiple flights to get in and out of Paro, the country’s only international airport and hub for most adventure activities. All treks in Bhutan require permits, which can be obtained only through a registered Bhutanese travel agency. Point to note: many of the trek routes are closed for Indian and Chinese nationals. Please check with your operator for details.
Bhutan does not have railways and, therefore, you have to resort to the means of road transport. There are local taxis that run on a flat rate.
